question to the developers - do you think it's feasible to put an option in the Advanced tab of the VM to make possible the switching between HVM and PV mode?
may I suggest using Keepass (or another password manager). It has "auto-type" function, and you can use it to type stuff in the browser window. However, it has some limitations - it's designed to auto-type user/pass, some short text in general. If you need to paste large amount of data, for example pages of text, it may not be suitable.
I have several pools added into XO. When creating a VM in let's say pool1, I see networks from pool2/3/4/etc in the dropdown menu. Since these networks are not presented on pool1, it gives an error "unknown error from peer", when I click the "Create" button.
Is this the normal behaviour - seeing all these network objects?
I have a question regarding self-service:
I have created sefl-service A, for user 1. Everything is working as it should, the user has created 2 VMs.
Now, when I add additional user for this self-service, he can not see the VMs, created by the first user. He can see newly created VMs.
Is this how it should work?
Some other tips:
xe vm-disk-list vm=xoa-full-test vdi-params=uuid,on-boot
xe vdi-param-set uuid=ab409ba4-c82b-47dd-b4b9-11924f105da2 on-boot=reset
xe user-password-change old=OLDPASS new=NEWPASS
xe vif-create vm-uuid=<vm-uuid> network-uuid=<network-uuid> device=1 mac=random
xe vif-plug uuid=<new_vif_uuid>
xe vif-list vm-name-label=XXX
xe vif-unplug uuid=VIDUUID && xe vif-destroy uuid=VIDUUID
