I'm trying to build a SUSE Enterprise Linux template that utilizes an iso stored inside my iso repository instead of through the nfs or http methods that come with the XO SUSE templates. XenCenter has these templates built in and I'd like to have the template available out in XO so that I don't have to jump into XenCenter to accomplish this.
I tried creating a VM from inside XC and then converting it to a Template from XO, but it appears to save the disk details and makes them un-editable when I try to actually create a VM from inside XO using that converted VM/Template.
Is there a way for me to perhaps take that template from XenCenter and import it into XO directly without all the disk details being saved? I might have varied disk sizes on the builds and as it stands right now, you're locked out of the ability to change the disk size if you use a converted VM to template.
Really what I'm trying to have in the template is: PV, with PV args console=xvc0 xencons=xvc the rest is configurable on the build steps such as RAM, disks, network, etc.
Is this possible and I'm just missing it?
Thanks a million...
