Shame on me.
I didnt even try the command to change root password
"sudo passwd root"
There is a way to modify the defaut MTU (1500) on one the network interface in xoa ?
The user "xoa" has not enought right to do it, i got a permission denied.
Its a need to improve speed with a remote location throught a VPN s2s connection.
I don't want to do it on the router as it will impact all the servers which are using this interface.
Sorry, i didn't see your answers !
For my part, we were facing a global performance issue with our storage and the first symptom was the delta bakup.
We will see in the futur but now delta backup are faster than two weeks ago.
(yes me again...)
As a problem doesnt come alone, here a new one..and a big one.
I have to restore a vm (of course, its an emergency) and whats a surprise when i clicked on on restore tabs and....no restore available, but all the backup job were okay this morning.
i checked the storage connection and its good, i connected it on another server and all the backup are here...hope is not gone.
So why, there are disappear from my XOA console ?
Do i need to restart the xoa (and check my previous post at the same time) ?
We just noticed around two weeks ago, the delta backup are really slow...
Between 5MB/s and less than 1MB/s the result are we need almost 10hours to do a delta-backup of 10 VMs.
We didnt have those performance at the beginning. Do you know if the snapshot chain can cause those poor performance or any idea what can i check to troubleshoot ? as the network sounds good and storage too.
For information, we are running our Vms on Xenserver 7 and a 10gb Fiber.
The storage is a shared NFS 10gb .
Is a NFSv4 share folder, 10gb FB , where vdi are stored.
There is nothing wrong with it except the alerts...
There are several other Shared folder on the same NAS (and same RAID volume) used as SR on another Xenserver pool but there is no alert with them.
