I know that script and know it works well, but I'm saying that the original XOA is based on Debian (not ubuntu). I've tried to build XO on CentOS7 (works pretty well but thanks to broken libvhdi-tools package it cannot see the partition tree in backups other than boot) and on FreeBSD (also built without any problems but I couldn't connect to the remote thanks to weird syntax error). Different distros/systems can have different package versions and some of em can be broken.
Maybe try to use that script on Debian Stable and check if it works as it should ? you will be able to check if it's the OS problem and focus on different things.
building XO from sources went smooth, but I have a problem with NFS remote share for backups.
XO execute command:
Command failed: mount -t nfs XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/XX:/xen_storage /usr/local/opt/xo-server/mounts/391a2971-9cef-43da-a67e-ca5f4b6a9a3f -o vers=3
which ends up with syntax error:
usage: mount [-adflpruvw] [-F fstab] [-o options] [-t ufs | external_type] mount [-dfpruvw] special | node mount [-dfpruvw] [-o options] [-t ufs | external_type] special node
typing mount nfs command manually works fine. Problem is that option -o is at the end of command.
Is it possible to put that option right after mount command ?
Or anyone has any workaround/patch for that ?
XCP-ng: Latest version (up-to-date)
xo-web: 5.24.0 (there is no newer, just performed git pull --ff-only)
XCP-ng newest possible, just performed yum update -y on each hosts and it installed a fair few updates. Also xcp-ng-deps/xcp-ng-updater is installed on each host.
