[XO] Xapi # getResource / rrd_updates
Hello, I have a problem where an error is appearing after changing the host name of the xenserver. In tasks
[XO] Xapi # getResource / rrd_updates (on sinopse-xen) 0%
Could you please help me?
This is a know bug of XenServer if I remember correctly. Is your XOA up to date? Maybe we did a workaround I don't remember exactly.
We'd like to take a look.
Can you tell me exactly how you triggered the issue? (command used in your XCP-ng host)
I had to change the network server, so I changed the name and ip through xsconsole
After that I can no longer connect to console the vms, through the panel and these messages appear in the "TASKS"
Okay thank you, can you create a ticket here: https://github.com/vatesfr/xen-orchestra/issues/new
Thank you! XO devs will take a look as soon as they could
Don't like to be a "me too" but I've just started mucking around with continuous replications and have just found that I have 40 stuck tasks that all say
[XO] Xapi#getResource /rrd_updates (on xcp-ng-sydney1)
I think this is to do with replicating from one DC to the other although the status is OK for the backups. I've turned them off for the moment.
This is the latest XO from source and xcp-ng patched.
Please be sure to refresh your browser.
Done.. no change.
Is what the task page looks like...
Is the backup page...
Connect/disconnect the host in Settings/server view? (then refresh again?)
Sadly no change.
So there is some stuck tasks in your XAPI… Try a
xe task-listin your host to confirm you really have all those tasks.
If it's the case, only a toolstack restart will clean them.
Check your XAPI logs to find a possible cause, it's not a normal behavior (eg enough RAM in Dom0 etc.)
It would seem there is something odd about the connection to the other DC.
I can see the server as "green" but... I can't get a console, nor any stats so something isn't happy.
